Travel the Northern Territory with story & stone co.

Story & Stone Co. creates immersive, privately guided journeys through Kakadu and Arnhemland — down‑to‑earth, personal touring through the Northern Territory, made for travelers seeking fun, flexibility, connection and time on Country.

Just you, your people, and a guide who knows Country with depth, care and genuine respect and connection.

Our journeys move through some of Australia’s most remote and culturally significant landscapes. Travel unfolds along red dirt tracks, across sandstone escarpments, through monsoon forest and wide, breathing wetlands.

Days are shaped by walking to hidden gorges, swimming in clear spring‑fed pools, sitting in ancient shelters, and listening to how the seasons shift through the winds.

Evenings return to camp, where firelight softens the day and stars gather thick overhead. Time stretches. Conversation slows. You begin to feel the quiet rhythm of this place — a way of travelling that’s both grounding and expansive.

For families, friends, curious travelers and people hoping to gain a deeper understanding, we design adventures that move at your pace, with space to explore, learn and connect.

Private. Personal. Connected to Country. This is Story & Stone Co.

Wilderness Awaits

You wake to magpie geese calling across the floodplains and the smell of smoke from last night's fire.

This is the Northern Territory from the inside, not a day trip, but days lived in it.

You cross into Arnhemland by invitation, climbing Injalak Hill with a Bininj guide who points to rock art older than memory and explains what it means to stand on country that's been cared for across 65,000 years.

The red dirt cakes your boots. Crocodiles slide past during sunset cruises. Dinner is cooked over coals, wine poured under stars so thick they feel within reach.
